Grad Bash

Definitely a gong show...
With no intentions of getting drunk and needing to leave early, it turned into drunken fun and staying late!!
Best part of the night...Simon's harrassing phone calls. Our end of the convo was hilarious but I don't think Keeters found it as amusing on her end though.

It's very weird to think that I'm not going to see some of these people again...saying bye for the last time to class friends, or random people whom you saw on campus. Kinda weird. I'd like to say having no more class is crazy, however, I still have three classes left on monday. Brutal! Ah well...such is life!!

Yesterday was the first day of flipflop weather, sporting the flipflops for the first time this year was awesome. A flipflop day is a good kind of day!

Facebook?

What is this Facebook everyone is talking about?? I've never heard of it before!
What? You mean to tell me it's basically the equivilant of a kick ass party where everyone there knows you, even if it's 3 times removed. Oh my shit...SIGN ME UP!!!

And that was me last tuesday..I am now obsessed!!! Good god, I never realized the power a social network could have on someone. New people and messages every couple days...my god! At a horrible time too...right when I'm about to start my fourth and final meltdown with school work. *high five to that*

And so...I'm off to start my one of many papers/exams/assignments/presentations I have due in the next four weeks!! UGH to the max!

I'm 23

So today is my birthday, I celebrated with friends last night. What a gong show (but in a good way!). With the DJ playing my request (Dancing in September), which never happens, and then getting a shout out from him saying Happy Birthday. It was definitely a good night!

I felt the need to kiss everyone at one point, and no I wasn't trashed, it just seemed appropriate. Oh good times!! But the best part of the night, by far, was after the bar. My friends started fighting over a Monopoly game they played over a year ago. Now it doesn't sound exciting, but when one of them is trashed and the whole convo is caught on video...it is the funniest thing ever. I guess you also have to know my friends (that might help!).

And other excitement in my life...I finally have a job for the summer. Working the same job as last summer. And it involved no resume/cover letter writing or going through a long interview process. Perfect!! This also give me four months to start figuring out what I'm gonna do with my life. Go back to school, find a full timer, travel. I'm sure my parents would love me to have some direction. haha.

I made a list of things I want to do this summer...some I know are guaranteeds, but who doesn't like lists. I know I do!

1) camping
2) going to the cottage
3) Toronto adventures
4) Stratford adventures
5) checking out hiking trails
6) learn photography (in possession of an awesome SLR 35mm, I should put some use to it!)
7) research Grad/College programs

I'm sure I'll be adding more to this list...but it's a start.
