long time no see?
Considering the time span between this post and the last one...clearly I forgot I had this blog thing. haha!!
Anywho...life or something like it thus far...
Working, not where I'd like to be working or in a position I'd like to be in. But it's work and they pay me a little more than the shat-tastic job I had over christmas. Plus, for the most part, everyone I work with is nice and free rentals to boot!
College application almost finished...due in 2 days, well 1 day considering its 12:08am. I've decided on two programs but I can't make up my mind between two others for my third option.
Option A) Marketing Management
Option b) International Business Management
I already decided on GIS and Urban Planning, and Corporate Comms and PR...just that third one is hard for me. I feel like marketing would be fun, but I'm not a huge fan of the sales aspect of the marketing industry and any research I've done about positions related to this field put quite a bit of emphasis on this. I've just never been comfortable in a setting where I'm trying to sell something to people who aren't interested. I hate it when other's do it to me, so I just can't get past that personal aspect. As for my second option, I spoke with the head of the program back in october at some info night event. The program sounded interesting, but I'm just not sure.
Needless to say, I'm a horrible decision-maker. 24 hours to decide, I know it's not like I have to choose the program in the end...but I feel like if I don't pick the right one I'll regret it after the fact. I'd rather be considered on equal ground as everyone else applying instead of hoping that I get an offer if the program is still open.
Finally snow showed up...now I just need to get out and actually have a boarding lesson. Very first one ever!!! Should be interesting to say the least...Fingers crossed I actually get a chance to get out there this year. It's my only goal of this winter, to learn to snowboard. Even if it's only once...I don't care. Now I just need to get some friends in on it, and I'm set.
Received my first paycheque on monday, very exciting!!! Now I can get my breaks fixed on my car, no more wondering when exactly there gonna stop working. Well, for this year anyways. Seems I need to replace them every year...another expense added to the list.
I also decided that with my next paycheque I'm going to get my hair cut, it's been a long time and I know I'll feel so much better when it doesn't look horrible. I'll feel pretty, oh so pretty!!
